Controlling Kodi with a wired keyboard and mouse is not the ideal method for controlling Kodi with the Raspberry Pi. Especially in a living room setup, with wires traipsing across the floor. It is more suited to a Kodi setup on a desktop PC. It is however a life saver for the initial setup of Kodi

Unfortunately the result remains the same. kodi is installed in the /usr/share and /bin dirctories after the kodi command or initialising from the menu the kodi and kodi.bin run - checking in the task manager - but nothing happened.
